2025 Traminette (off-dry) - This aromatic, dry white wine is the Midwest’s sophisticated answer to a classic Alsatian Gewürztraminer, an aromatic white wine from France's Alsace region, known for its rich body, low acidity, and distinctive aromas. Designed to highlight the grape’s exotic heritage, this dry style of Traminette is vibrantly crisp and exceptionally fragrant - a heady bouquet with notes of banana, lemon, coconut and créme. It trades residual sugar for a refined, clean structure. With a complex yet clean mouthfeel, this delicate white wine boasts flavors of lemon, citrus, and melon, and shines through its simple elegance and bright, food-friendly acidity. Pair with an evening of light dishes- including antipasta, fish, or poultry. Or enjoy it with your favorite Cobb salad or alongside a platter of creamy Muenster and Brie. This distinctive, perfumed white is a true boutique find that brings a touch of old-world spice to your glass.
2025 Chateau Rouge (dry) - This light-bodied nouveau red wine is the closest thing you get to a Beaujolais Nouveau on this side of the Atlantic. A red wine that is designed to be consumed young, this nouveau style of French wine is smooth to drink and has subtle aromas. With light elements of raspberry and spring rain on the nose, this wine shines in its drinkability and table pairings. Flavors of tart cherry, red currant, and violet from its Chambourcin components are complemented by subtle wisps of rose petal and apricot from our estate-grown St. Stanislaus grapes. Pair this wine with an afternoon of charcuterie and soft cheeses, or at dinner with your favorite pork, chicken, or turkey dishes. This unique, young red wine is one the French would call "glou-glou" (easy-drinking). You won't find a high-quality nouveau red of this style anywhere but at the Chateau!
2023 Inaugural Dry White Blend (dry) A spritzy white blend with notes of citrus, green apple and a touch of vanilla. A great porch-sipper that is refreshing when chilled with a cool mouthfeel and a long finish.
2023 Homestead Catawba (sweet) Clear amber colored sweet rosé wine with a hint of tartness at the finish, with flavors of apricot, melon and caramel.
2024 Sauvignon Blanc (dry) A crisp, dry, refreshing white wine with prominent herbaceous flavors, including notes of gooseberry, grass, lime and passion fruit.
2024 Chateau Blanc (dry) Made in the style of the famed Bordeaux Blanc blends of France, this elegant dry white wine is a crowd pleaser. Its complex blend presents with early notes of grass and honeysuckle on the nose, followed by a deep and rich floral bouquet. The wine is crisp and medium-bodied on the palate, boasting layered notes of lemon, melon, stone fruit and honey. The wine transitions into a smooth, refreshing citrus finish.
2024 Lilac Rosé (off-dry) Another Chateau Blend, this rosé wine combines Chambourcin grapes from Missouri with wine made from a few Californian varieties. The namesake Lilac was selected due to the beautiful light purple and mauve shades in the finished wine.
2024 Doré (dry) Crisp, dry honey-colored Missouri white wine that offers subtle notes of peach and apricot on the nose. Balanced, cool, and refreshing.
2024 Crimson Cabernet (dry) This Missouri-grown varietal creates a wine that beautifully marries the classic elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon with the resilient character of Norton, resulting in a versatile and distinctive red wine.
2024 Lantern Light (dry) A zippy white wine with prominent green apple and citrus. Very similar to our 2023 Inaugural White Blend, this wine is a great porch-sipper that is refreshing when chilled with a cool mouth feel and a long finish.
2024 Homestead Concord (sweet) Our 2024 Concord wine is a time-honored staple of the region and of our McClenahan Homestead! With a blend of both Concord & Niagara grapes, this sweet red wine boasts a tremendous fruity bouquet and a bold grape flavor.
