May I bring my dog?
For the safety and comfort of all our guests, we do not allow dogs, or other pets, at the Chateau. Service animals are permitted.

How much do you charge for a wine tasting?
We believe finding a wine you love should be a joyful experience, not a transaction. That’s why tasting at our winery is always complimentary.

May I bring my own food?
Yes. You may bring your favorite food and non-alcoholic drinks. We also have delicious locally-made cheeses, meats, crackers and sweets available for purchase.

We ask that you refrain from bringing glass containers.

Do you offer winery tours?
Yes. Our complimentary winery tours are scheduled Mondays and Fridays at 12pm. Register for a tour here. Tours are for guests 21+ years of age and older. During festivals and special events, we often offer additional tours.

May I smoke at the Chateau?
For the comfort and safety of all our guests, we do not allow smoking or vaping on the property.

Is the Chateau family-friendly?
Yes. We welcome visitors of all ages in our peaceful and family-friendly environment. We ask that all minors be directly supervised to ensure safety and comfort for all our guests.

Do you have live music?
Occasionally. We strive to provide a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere.  When we do offer music, it is of the acoustic variety and normally presented in a manner to enhance the atmosphere rather than to dominate the patio.  We like our wine to take center stage.

Is your wine vegan?
Yes. Sparkolloid, the fining agent we use to clarify our wine contains no animal-derived ingredients.

Is your wine gluten-free?
Yes, our wine is gluten-free. We do not use any gluten-containing fining agents or additives. While it is true that traditional cooperages historically used a wheat-flour paste to seal the heads of wooden barrels, this practice does not compromise the gluten-free status of the aged alcohol.  The flour paste is applied externally to a tiny groove (the croze) to ensure a tight seal between the staves and the barrel head. The amount that could potentially interact with the liquid is minuscule.  Independent tests by organizations like Gluten Free Watchdog on wines aged in these traditional barrels found gluten levels to be below 5 to 10 ppm—well below the legal 20 ppm limit.

We also perform intense cleaning cycles. Barrels are heavily steamed, pressure-washed with hot water, and sanitized. Because wheat paste is water-soluble, these high-pressure wash cycles easily dissolve and flush out any remaining surface residue.
